How to setup a Digital Display slideshow

Setting up slideshows for window screens or Digital Displays in your office

  • Click on Configuration from the left-hand menu
  • Select Digital Displays beside Manage, and press List
  • Find the Digital Display list that you wish to run. Double click on it to open it.
  • Look through the list to ensure that the properties that will display are still relevant.

How to install the software to run the Digital Display:

Loading the Digital Display:

  • Once it is downloaded, go to the Start menu and open this application, called Digital Display. A little display box will appear.
  • Add your site to the Domain, ensuring that it does not contain /V5. For yours, it will be http://yourcompany.webdadi.net/
    Press green arrows to the right to refresh the application
  • Choose which display you would like to run
  • Select the blue play button on the right of that display, to run it.
  • Give the system time to load the properties. A green bar on the Digital Displays application will show how close it is to loading.
  • To minimise the display, press the Esc key.

To load properties to the Digital Display

  • Go back into Webdadi
  • Click on Configuration from the left-hand menu
  • Select Digital Displays beside Manage, and press List
  • To add a property, select Add
  • A pop up will appear. Select Add Property
  • Search for the property
  • Click on the property to highlight it and select Ok
  • The property will now appear on the list
  • Select Ok to save
  • Finally, go back to your Digital Displays app and refresh (green arrows) the list so it includes the new properties that you have just added
  • NOTE FOR HIGH RES IMAGES: You may want to create and keep an additional property within Webdadi that contains high res images of the property solely for the purposes of using it on the Digital Displayssave.. By selecting to hide this from the portals, it won’t upload each time the portal transfers take place.
